Scanning Options
Standard Scan
2000x3000 px resolution.
High-End Scan
4000x6000 px resolution with PRO quality check included.
Choose between JPEG or TIFF formats at no extra cost.
Additional Scanning Features
- Half-Frame Rolls: Scanned as single pictures by default. Diptychs are available upon request (free).
- No-Cut Option: Scanning without cuts is available on request (free).
- Straight Scans: Non-inverted (negative) scans are available on request (free).
Film Development
- Push/Pull Processing: We can push or pull film up to 3 stops at no additional cost.
- B/W Processing: Black-and-white film is developed using ADOX XT-3 for optimal results.
- Souped Films Processing: At no extra cost, but with extra time.
- 35mm Handling: Rolls are cut in stripes of 6 images. Plastic sleeves for color film, pergamin for b/w. Pergamin sleeves available for color films on request (free).
Printing Options
Prints are available in Glossy or Matte, with or without a white border. Visit our store to see examples.
Equipment
We use a variety of high-quality scanners, including the Fuji SP3000 and Noritsu HS-1800, to ensure excellent results.
Order Process
- Our staff is happy to help you decide between the processing, scanning and printing options.
- After dropping off your film, you will receive an email with the order number, which is also the pick-up number. Please check the spam folder. If you have not received that email, means there might a typo. Please write to labor (at) fotoimpex (dot) de your name, last name, order date and details, so that we correct your address in the system.
- The scans are sent via WeTransfer within the above indicated turnaround time.
- When films are ready for pick-up in the store (1-2 work days after scanning), you will receive an email notification.
- Due to the large volume of orders and limited storage space, we can only keep negatives in the store for 3 months after the order completion date. Then the negatives will be discarded.
- We are available via email for any lab-related questions or advice!
Ordering Additional Prints
To order prints separately from a developing order, please follow the steps below. Alternatively, you can visit our store to place your order in person.
Steps to Order Prints Online:
Select Your Pictures
Choose the pictures you want printed.
Field 1: Customer Number
Enter your customer number in the "first name" (top) field. (You can find this number in the emails we've sent you.)
Field 2: Prints Details
In the second field ("name"), specify the size and finish of the desired prints. For example, 10x15 Matte with Border
9x13 Glossy No Border
Field 3: Email
Write your email address in the third field and click "Transfer" to complete your upload. If you want different print sizes and finishes, please upload and specify each type separately.
!IMPORTANT! Incomplete orders cannot be processed.
Include all the required information!
Once we've received your order, we'll confirm via email. You'll receive another email when your prints are ready for pickup and payment.
Processing Time: Prints are typically ready within 2-4 business days.
